A tree Height: 5 to 10 meters high Leaves: Leaves are alternate and spread uniformly along the branch, with broadly winged, obovate petioles. Flowers: Inflorescences are axillaary racemes with white, crowded, very fragrant flowers. Fruits: Large, obovoid to sperical, up to 20 cm in diameter.

Protection against evil spirits and witches (papahawa sa engkanto, sigbin o panulay). Preparation: Get 3 matured leaves. Burn the leaves until these are turn to ashes.
