AllA perennial herb plant Height: Grows to a height of 0.3-0.9 meters Leaves: The leaves are 5-10 cm.long, elliptic, coarsely serrate or toothed, with no hairs. Flowers: The deep blue flowers are sessile or stalkless and are found on long, slender, glabrous spikes reaching 30 cm long. Fruits: The fruit which is 3 to 4 mm.long, oblong and ribbed, splits into two when dry.
