Herbs Height: 0.5 to 1 meter height Leaves: Grass-like, about 20 to 60 cms long and lush green in colour. Flowers: The infloresence is a curved spadix made up of a cluster of tiny flowers borne mid-way up a stalk.

Medicinal Uses & Benefits

Protection against evil spirits and witches (papahawa sa engkanto, sigbin o panulay). Preparation: Get 3 leaves of labigan, 3 leaves of buongon, 3 leaves of kesol. Burn the leaves until these are turn to ashes. Prepare the coconut shell with cinder, oil, "kandelarya" (candle blessed by the priest), Holy Water from the Church, pot, and Latin prayers..
